For Children with Parents / Caregivers
(Parent and Little One)
This is a FREE group activity for parents and their children aged 0-6. You and your child can enjoy a playtime that includes crafts, songs, and stories with a volunteer ECE teacher and the Children’s Outreach Assistant from the Oakville Public Library. Every week a public health nurse will be available to answer any questions you may have about your child’s health and/or parenting. There may be opportunities for cultural sharing throughout the program.
You and your child can:
- Enjoy playtime that includes crafts, songs and stories
- Meet other parents and children
- Participate in cultural sharing
You will also have:
- Access to health information and community resources
- Help with parenting
